The project “Treviso x l’Aquila” has been developed from the solidarity of a group of 50 companies. Aim of the project is to donate a nursery school to the town of Poggio Picenze (AQ), a city badly damaged by the earthquake which hit Abruzzo last 6th of April.
The project of the new nursery school, which will give hospitality to 40 children from an age of 3 months up to 3 years old, is a high quality structure, with wooden panels and walls that provide a safe and comfortable environment. At the same time it will be a structure that respects all the safety and anti seismic requirements, together with the environment and energetic save prescriptions.
Tre Ci Luce, together with Stingers and Service Legno – the promoter of the project – has decided to participate to the project by offering the lighting fixtures to the school, which will be given at the end of September at the community of Poggio Picenze.
The lighting project, developed by the lighting designer Davide Maggioni, has been studied according to he evaluations on each single area, from the point of view of both normative and visual comfort. Therefore, the choice has been made by using the newest range of products Shadow, in the suspended version Light for all those rooms with the presence of children. The same fixture, ceiling mounted, has been used for all the common areas of the structure, while the Trilli version (Mod. Com.) has been chosen to illuminate the Director’s office.
In all the other working areas, dedicated to the staff, product Square has been chosen, from years Tre Ci Luce’s best seller, as the symbol of the company.
